Privacy Policy

Athlon Training ("Athlon", "we", "us") is built privacy-first. This policy explains exactly what data the app uses and what it does with it. The short version: Athlon reads your Apple Health data, uses it entirely on your device, and never sends it anywhere.

Information We Access

With your explicit permission, Athlon reads the following from Apple Health (HealthKit):

• Workouts and their details (type, duration, distance, heart rate, route, and related metrics)
• Heart rate samples
• Daily activity (such as active energy, steps, and exercise minutes)

Athlon requests read-only access. It does not write to or modify your Apple Health data. You can review or revoke this access at any time in the iOS Settings app under Health → Data Access & Devices.

How We Use It

Your health data is processed entirely on your device to calculate your training zones, benchmarks, progression trends, and dashboard. None of it is required to leave your iPhone for the app to work, and none of it does.

Data We Do Not Collect or Share

• We operate no servers and have no backend. Your data is never transmitted off your device.
• We do not collect analytics, usage tracking, advertising identifiers, or crash data.
• We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your data to any third party.
• We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or data mining.
• We do not create an account or ask for your name, email, or login.

Data Storage and Retention

Athlon stores its computed results and your preferences locally in the app's own storage on your device. Because nothing is sent off-device, there is no copy of your data anywhere else. Deleting the app removes this local data. Your original Apple Health data is owned and controlled by you through Apple Health and is unaffected.

Apple Health Commitment

In line with Apple's requirements, Athlon will never use Apple Health data for advertising or similar services, will never disclose it to third parties for marketing or data mining, and will never use it for any purpose other than providing the health and fitness features described above.

Subscriptions and Payments

Athlon offers an optional Premium subscription handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your name, payment card, or billing information. Purchases are governed by Apple's terms, and you can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings.

Children's Privacy

Athlon is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. As described above, the app does not collect personal data from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
